I'm Paula, the Founder & Owner of Doggos Dog Park and Pub. People often ask me how I came up with the idea for Doggos. The answer is grief.

My dog, Spartacus, had just passed away. I missed him more than I can adequately explain here. I kept wishing there was a place I could go just hang out and be with some dogs until I was ready to adopt again. Feeling this way made me wonder if maybe other people felt like this, too.

Aside from missing Spartacus, I was unhappy in my corporate job. So, one day I was mulling over what I should do next with the help of an in-flight beverage. It was in that moment of sadness and confusion that the idea for a dog park + pub hit me like lightning. Instantly I *knew* I had to do it. I quit my job as soon as I returned home and went all-in working towards our area's only Dog Park and Pub. We opened 9 months later in January of 2019 and we've been creating community ever since through the magic of dogs, drinks, and good times.

We are visited by folks from the Triangle all the time. They always ask us to open a location in Raleigh. We've decided Raleigh needs a Doggos and we're on a mission to answer the call. I hope you'll partner with us and help us make a place for dogs and people to be together.
